Orion and Aiko. Millionth time I’ve changed Orion’s design but I think I finally feel comfortable with her. I kept sticking to black hair with straight bangs but it looked so LAME. Choppy and frumpy fits her personality much better.

And I realized how bored I was with Aiko’s hair being down all the time so I think I’ll stick with this style. besides having long hair hanging everywhere would be really impractical for a cook

so far the cast is: Aiko, Jiken, Shimashita, Kurokuchi, Junko/Orion, and Rai.

(You guys aren’t familiar with Orion yet because I’m having a really difficult time developing her. I keep redoing her personality sdfgdg. She’s a thrown away prostitute that Shima picks up and brings to the house)

Shima’s father gets mentioned a lot so I guess I should probably give him a design

This is one of my favourite IT BEGINS moments and i felt like doodling it heheheh wutevs

Aiko had been told by Jiken that Rai, one of their clients, was a real creepy ass dude. He’d done business with them a few times before, and the fact that he was becoming a regular made Jiken uncomfortable. Aiko decides she wants to take a peek at this guy. This is something she’s never done, and isn’t allowed to do, because it would be VERY VERY BAD if she was seen.

If a client were to find out that she was living there, they could use it against them as blackmail. Since Aiko is a missing person, they could report her to the police, which would destroy the business from the bottom up. (For multiple reasons)

I wrote the script for the first two chapters of the cannibal story, I’M ACTUALLY GETTING SOMETHING DONE IT’S LIKE A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE

btw as of right now its name is “The Secret of Kumamura Manor”. That might change later on once more work has been done, if I’ve thought of something better. But out of the cluster of titles I came up with, that one was the strongest.

That horrible moment when you come up with a pretty solid title for your story but then you realize it’s terrible because you’re a white guy and it’s a story about Japanese people and the title has the word “Wolves” in it

Coming up with a title is HARD

i’ve been thinking about it since this morning and i’ve realized how difficult it is to avoid something pretentious sounding

but then again what IS pretentious?

I want something simple that summarizes a general theme in the story, either the cannibalism factor or a factor that I haven’t explained to you guys yet, which is that each character has a zodiac animal representing them (this is introduced by a support character) oorrr both at the same time?

but not something as fucking obvious as putting ZODIAC or CANNIBALS in the god damn name y’know

Also Aiko being the main character, I had just come up with a bunch of shitty names with “girl” in it. Like “Monster Girl” but that was kind of lame.

What do you guys do to get ideas for titles??
